Welcome to Showit Blogs. This is your first post. Edit or delete it, then start writing!

This is so new to me. It’s currently in the evening, at 8:05pm, following a warm spring day. I’ve spent the last two weeks building the design of my beloved galaxy, canvas by canvas. It’s been a frustrating but ultimately rewarding two weeks. I find myself enjoying learning at least one skill day to day. I am now experimenting with the WordPress interface, and I hope to one day become familiar enough to talk to you cozies on a daily level. I really do enjoy typing, learning, and writing. Growing, empathizing, remaining kind when it’s easier to be cruel. How to stand on your own two feet and how to be proud of your most authentic self. Logging little notes, creating, making mistakes, applying, developing, and expressing what makes you shine or what makes you tick.

Have you ever had the feeling where you can’t escape something, no matter how far it’s lodged in the back of your brain? It always follow through, at moments in your life whether you’re 18 or 25. For me, that’s always been writing, reading, and a mind and will as expansive as the universe. I’m obsessed with the notion of expanding our knowledge, growing biologically smarter and evolving at our own pace. No matter how much I try to avoid the mental strain of compiling sentence structures together, writing has ultimately always been a release for me. I’m sure that some of you cozies can attest to that as well. If you’re like me, we can be found cozied up in sweats, with a cute Kdrama on, a vibey playlist on, and selectively consuming creativity and knowledge on a daily basis.

A piece of knowledge reveled over last night: Reading naturally makes us more empathetic by immersing us in experiences beyond our own.

It makes sense. The more stories we absorb, the deeper our understanding of human emotions and complexities become.

Which is why starting a blog was the perfect solution for an introspective introvert, such as myself. I aim to share actionable knowledge, for myself and for you to both consider in future thoughts. I will continue to read more scriptures, PubMed journals, and pieces of philosophy and reword it in a way that’s digestible for the everyday reader. Discovering more about myself, finalizing the boundaries and goals I have in place for myself and for my peers. I don’t think I’ve ever been so definitive about exploring an area of my life, which has been simply this. Me, a blank screen, piece of paper, and nothing but my thoughts. Who cares if it’s not perfect. Let the words flow, let the rough draft be rough. At least it’s honest work.

I’ve spent this last year, floating, being lost and burnt out in demanding positions and relationships that made me forget myself, but here we are.

I really don’t think it’s possible to it to ever be too late for you to start over. Whether you’re 40, whether you’re 19, I’m sure there always another creative outlet or hobby you wanna explore. For me, this involves blogging. Cheers to a cozy galaxy!

Let this be a promise to myelf to always put my dreams first but to be considerate of others, aid them to reach theirs. This blog will be a place where night owls come to rest, learn more about the human experience, and to share what you want to say.

Safe Travels,

Stargirl Cozy
